Next project

Well the Loctite Zexel GTR is finished and I have been asked a question I just can't answer at the moment.

the question is this: "what's next?" by Jay

I need some ideas of what to make, all I know is that I want a break from race cars.

Righto Mini Cooper it is then

NOT

the car I want to make (Toyota Celica GT-R) HLJ doesn't have anymore(item code TAM24086) , will have to search some of the smaller model shops in Auckland. I wanted to make it to resemble my old car.

the other option was a mazda 121 funtop (another old car) but it doesn't look like Tamyia make it

Hey! What's wrong with Minis?! I have a Tamiya one on order from HLJ and I'm thinking of picking up the new version from Revell at my local hobby shop.

There is nothing wrong with minis, I just prefer my models to ba a bit more shapely. The mini would be out of place in my collection at the moment

How about the Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT? You seem to like 6-cylinder AWD turbo cars.

I don't see any GTEs, but there are some non-GT-Rs...

Pontiac GTO, Delorean, or Gremlin. Not too sure you'd be able to find a model of a Gremlin though, if you do please tell me.

Spent 3 hrs in the model shop today just trying to decide what to make.

I had already decided NOT to make another race car for a while (need a break from all those decals) so that reduced the choice considerably.

Out of all the models I looked at only one jumped out and said "buy me, make me"

So I ended up buying the . . .

wait for it . . .

Tamyia FERRARI 360 SPIDER (just like Guiddy's)

to be different the exterior will be painted in Tamyias TS-53 deep metallic blue, witht the interior painted to resemble the beige leather.

Once this is finished I may order one of the 4 door skylines to make it look like mine. Just need to make some different stickers/ decals for the back of it. And slightly different wheels.
