Question Will Factory Shocks Do the Trick?????

The suspension on my 1993 Accord is completly stock and I want to drop it abour 1.5 inches or so. I was just going to buy 4 nice lowering springs because I don't have enough to get better shocks too so I was just wondering if it will be ok to pair up the new springs with my factory shocks or should I just wait until I have the money to get shocks too?

Ughh?

-burn that dam clutch

Definitely wait. Better to install once than twice later.

Re: Will Factory Shocks Do the Trick?????

I didn't have money for both springs and shocks.
So I got H&R OE springs for my stock shocks with 105,000 miles.

H&R claims .75 inch drop but looks one inch drop. The ride is better, much more stable, firmer and sportier but not harsh and less bouncy and weak like the worn stock springs.

I'm saving for Koni Reds...not anytime soon, unless I win the lottery (oh please let me win!).

ummmm.... if anything do it the other way around... you can put the newer (stiffer?) shocks in with the stock springs and then get the lower springs you shouldnt do it the other way around, especially if it is a substantial drop
