Lights in my speakers

hey everyone i need help wit some wiring in my civic. i bought some speakers from best buy they are duals illuminites and the have lights in them. i need a very specific description of how to wire 12v power supply to it and where i would connect the wire to. also how do i ground a wire liek how would i connect it to teh chasis of the c ar

If you want the lights on all the time the car is on, wire from the + side of the cig lighter/accessory jack to the +s/red wires on the lights, ground to a handy screw, or back to the - on the cig lighter. Ground is anymetal piece on the car's body or chassis, better if unpainted.

If you can figure it out from that great- otherwise, I don't want to see any other shit like "liek" or "teh" in your goddamn bandwidth-wasting questions. If you're old enough to drive, and install stereo equipment, I would assume that you can spell "like" and "the" correctly.

or you could wire them to remote wire from the stereo, even easier if you just want to run the wire from the amp terminal thats takes in the remote wire
