Re: Stalling in 1987 Thunderbird

Well to let you know tlavalley, i got a 5.0 v8 1988 tbird and it does the same thing, still haven't figured it out yet either. I got the fuel system cleaned out with one of the shops that puts cleaner in the fuel system and all and now the car doesn't die at stop signs or while idling, however i still have the lumpy idle where the rpm's fluctuate a few 100 at times. So i do believe it is fuel related, but i have no clue what. Also about turning, yeah, my car does the same as well at low speeds or just by turning the steering wheel while idling, i'm worrying it is related to the trans or something, but then, who knows, anybody have a clue, please help.

I have an 84 T-Bird with a 351W Modified. There is a couple probs you could be having possible if its while turning, its time for a new steering pump. But be fore I did anything run your carb through from idle to full throttle (while its not running mae sure everything is moving alright. Might be the choce.

Sorry the button on my board between J and L doesnt worc.
