What would it take to get a replica of my car made???

My car will be back from paint and all within a month and I thought it would be real cool to have a replica for shows and all. I could probably do it but im lazy and would rather have a real good one made by one of the more professional forum members here.

I would be willing to pay a little bit of money (not much more than like 75dollars) if someone picked up the revell civic kit and did all the stuff that my car has done to it...

thanks in advance and here are some pix of it in the stage its in now to kinda get an idea of what ur in for...oh yea, i kno the revell kit is a 00 civic, as long as you would make the bumperlook like mine i dont care about the tiny difference in headlites

^customfit front lip

^buddyclub sideskirts (its a photoshop)

^this color scheme (the blackness is carbonfiber)

^buddyclub rear with shaved plate and plate in the kit

^this is the color tis gonna be painted (i can do the final paint if needed because my dad paints professional)

I would think you need to revise your expectations. Quality labor rates being what they are you might want to add a 0 to the end of your offer. I mean really, I can do a lot in a short time but I get more than that for just painting a body right out of the box.
You should probably just build it yourself. When you do you will find out you are going to spend half your offer on the kit, primer and paints.

I'll do it but I'll need some better pics of the car in its current state, and a list of mods. I personally would like to have no intense time frame. I can work on the car and set up a progress thread, so you can watch the car in progress. I can try to paint the body but I have never seen that color. (I use arosol and am pretty good, the air brush is too expensive, but my uncle says hes getting me one and I may have it before I finish your car). I could just send it to you with the body in primer. If you are not happy with it you don't have to buy it (I'll be pissed though). Don't worry about cash until I finish. Also I'll have to hunt down those stock wheels. If the car is SOHC I could build it curbside, or hunt down a SOHC motor this will influence the final price). So get me a spec sheet and your list or parameter, and demand/requests, and I'll go buy the kit tomorrow or later this week.

It'll be under $75 but It'll depend on wether I paint the body a custom mixed color, and If I have to get you a SOHC motor. Expect like $60. Includes model, putty, and labor. No thats not th deposit, or initiation fee, that is the finished car and then add shipping.

You guys need to settle down. It's just a tease.

Re: What would it take to get a replica of my car made???

@ Willimo!! The hood could come from SAS, the sideskirts are exactly like those on the '93 Revell Civic, the wing is the optional item from the '99 Revell Civic Si. A little putty work and voila' !!! You should be able to do it easily!!
