2001 Grand Am 2.4

Could someone please help me...I gotta change my fuel filter before i make a trip from Montana to Missouri. How and where is it? please help me

The AC DElco part # is GF578, and it runs $12-$14. It is located between the rear axle and the fuel tank toward the driver's side of the car.
