95 200SX charging problems

I have a 1995 200SX SE-R. I started out that my battery was dead (so it seemed because it would not start) so I replaced it with a brand new one. It worked great for a day or two (but i only drove it for 10 miles each day). It died on my as i was pulling in my drive way, and the battery was dead again. So i jumped it and it ran for 1-2 mins and died again. Sounds like an alternator to me, So i replace it will a remaned alternator and I am still having the same problems. Is their an easy was to ping point the problem? maybe a voltage regulator?, or is this built into the alternator? Bad remaned alternator? Any ideas
