Lumina Sound System

Ok, guys, here's the thing. I just replaced that factory cassette am/fm delco with a pioneer deh-p6500, and Might I add that this p6500 is one of the best things that has ever happened. My hat goes off to you pioneer. I just want some suggestions on how to get a little more volume out of my car, you know, I want to be "heard". Would a couple pioneer 6x9's and a pioneer amp be the way to go, or would you guys do subs. Here's the thing, I love my trunk, and for that matter, my back seat, I need some suggestions on where I should put this stuff, even if it involves makeing custom boxes. I really dont want to take up all the room in the trunk, nor do I need a 500.00 system in it, just a little thump. I was thinking maybe makeing a 6x9 box for under each of the seats. I donno, any suggestions? I have one for you though, PIONEER HEAD UNITS. Thanks
