Hey do those after market tachs work with Auto Tranny, like do they adjust the shift points....?

I think you actually need a ecu chip, or a computer tuner to change the shift points, but Im not exactly sure.

no...sticking an aftermarket tach on your dash will not allow you to change where the 4EAT, or any other auto trannie, will shift. That's controlled by the ECU on our scoobs I believe. Adjusting shift points usually means just adjusting when the shift light on the tach comes on, reminding you to shift with your manual transmission. It won't change an auto's shift points.

Actually, with the 4EAT, there is a TCU that controls the transmission
