'02 Water pump

Anyone seen or had any problems with the gasket(s) leaking on an '02 Denali water pump? Doesn't look as if it is the water pump, but rather dripping fluid from the gasket/seal area. Heard that the antifreeze that is used now a days can ruin the gaskets. Also, ball par4k price to replace?

Re: '02 Water pump

The gaskets between the water pump and the block will leak on those engines....luckly you can fix it by replacing just the gaskets.
Parts are around 10.00 for the gaskets and about 1.5 to 2 hours labor.

Personally I am not convinved that Dex-cool is the problem
