First try , My first(maybe last) try F1 , Protar 1/24 Ferrari F1/89

Hi , I received this kit from my friend last year , but I didn't open it before , and one day when I found this kit...
It's really supprised me^^
It's so cheap that I can't believe almost 150 NTD(maybe 4~5 USD)
But I think this kit is better then Revell's

I think some of Revell's older Ferrari F1 kits are actually reboxed Protars. Looks good so far, I'd imagine it's a lot tricker to build then Tamiya's version.

Looks good. Is there any engine detail?

I have same kit. It's very simple, from Protar's SWIFT serie. Not much details, no engine. Old kit.
It's fit in price of few $.

I love it's sticker , it's attenuate and easy to fit the body , not like Tamiya's , maybe Tamiya give us a good model kit , but often suck of it's stickers

Yes this is true. The decals in the Tamiya kit have a LOT of carrier film. Averages maybe 1 mm of extra carrier film. The decals are an absolute mess.

It’s coming real nice.
I truly hope that this will not be your first & last F1 model because there are not much F1 builders around here. Thankfully now there are more than one or two years ago.
Have a nice build.

All colors I use is consultation from Tamiya's 1/20 F1/89 manual
I can't understand what colors I should from protar's manual >.<
I never learn that language before , But now I got a new problem...I always use GSI color
so I just try look what Tamiya's manual describe , and try to transfer those color into GSI's
but I am not sure that I may wrong...>.<

GSI is actually Gunze Sangyo/Mr Hobby if i'm not wrong, most of its items are comparable to Tamiya's.
