I have a 1995 Accord LX 4dr, and I noticed that when I pressed my clutch in, there's a squeaking noise. I popped the hood, had someone else press it, and it is coming from the clutch slave cylinder.
Is it necessary to replace the entire cylinder, or is there a simple fix, such as like a silicon spray lubricant? Thanks, Paul |

you can buy a clutch slave cylinder rebuild kit - it has seals and O-rings etc.
But unless the clutch performance has worsened or if the noise is unbearable, it should be fine. Is the squeak coming from the cylinder for sure or is it maybe coming from any linkages etc. take it to a few shops and see what they think first. |

I will inspect it closer. Let me put it this way, I know it's coming from around the slave cylinder. I manually pushed in the slave cylinder with my hand, and it made a squeek, though not as much. It really isn't that big of an annoyance, so if it comes to taking it to the shop, I will just live with it ![]() Thanks! |

Re: squeaky clutch slave cylinder
Try lubing the ball on the end of the plunger that pushes on the clutch fork. Sometimes they get a little dry and noise.
