Here is the story. I was getting in my car yesterday (88 Prelude Si 5 speed) to go to the garage. I started my car and a loud clanky noise was coming from the underneath the hood. The first thing I thought was my hood prop fell again and was rubbing on a pully. So I pop the hood look down and the hood prop was where it was supposed to be. I looked at the common stuff to see if the noise was coming from them but nope! The noise is definitly coming from the block. So I will definitly be swaping a motor here in the next few weeks.
What I need to know all information on swaps that you all may have. The only swap that seems practical right now is a Jdm b20a. The h22 is common but all ive heard is problems when swaping into a 3rd gen. Please help me out with all of your ideas and info |

Re: From Sofast to Soslow
I'm not sure how easy it is, or how light the 3rd gen is compared to the later gens, but someone on here has a 3rd gen with a B18. You might wanna look into that, cause those are common, good engines.
