someone with a 99 intrepid, please help
i just bought a 99 intrepid, but it doesnt have the manual. It has autolock and i would like to disable it. If anyone knows how to it would be greatly appreciated. When you start driving the doors lock, which i dont like. I just want to lock the car myself, i think if i can drive i can figure out how to lock it on my own. I hate autolock.
Please help a noob on this forum

The exact procedure out of the owner's manual reads: The Automatic Door Locks can be disabled or re-enabled by performing the same following procedure:
1. Close all doors and place key in the ignition 2. Cylce the ignition switch between OFF and ON/RUN and back to OFF 4 times ending up in the OFF position. 3. DEPRESS the power door locks switch to lock the doors. 4. A single chime will indicate the completion of the programming.
