Dem vs Rep

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2346 feet above sea level. You are 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.

She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican." "I am," replied the man. "How did you know?" "Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to make of your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat." "I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?" "Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow now, it's my fault...

You and the truth have yet to be introduced, silly girly man.

Amazing how quickly the Republican muck-slinging network has hijacked someone else's creative thinking and spread it amonst their fellow blind monkey-buggerers.

but keep bashing,it emphasises the fact that you have nothing positive to say about Bush.

Re: Dem vs Rep

What the hell is this? The shoe does fit, he was not owned, and I disagree with taranaki on nearly every single political view that he holds as far as I can tell. I also do not appreciate being called a blind monkey buggerer. Here, I will say something positive about Bush: he's the best president we've had in years. He puts the interests of America first and isn't a pushover like Clinton was or Kerry would be. For some odd reason, however, it seems that rest of the world doesn't like it when they can't get exactly what they want from us whenever they want it.

Nonsense!
You see Bush as not being a 'pushover' I see a spend-happy war monger who is blowing America's diplomatic and financial capital on self-serving foreign campaigns based on lies.
Bush has spent more money and increased the debt faster than any other president in many years. That is obviously not in the best interest of the country.

Re: Dem vs Rep

yeah seriously, helping us out??!??! all he did was spend billions of dollars and the lives of americans in order to bring a man who was no threat to america out of power and create tons of militant groups that hate america and want revene against us. He has created huge numbers of jobs in other countries and lost jobs in our own. Intrests of America first? are you dumb or just ignorant?

There are 1.8 million more Americans unemployed since Bush took offices, and millions more who have no healthcare cover.Despite his irrational homophobia,he sees no problem with buggering the US constitution. He regards abortion as a crime but not apparently killing Iraqi
children in their beds,if their beds happen to be in an inconvenient place at the wrong time. The Patriot act is a nightmare piece of legislation that could be abused by any unscrupulous buffoon in the White House back office. He hasn't put America first,he's put the people who fund and vote for the Republican Party first.

Even at their National congress, the party had nothing positive to say about itself.'John Kerry can't keep you safe' was the only message they could come up with.Well here's a newsflash...whoever wins on Nov 2nd, the military will still be exactly the same on Nov 3rd.

And they'd be better off led by a soldier than a deserter.

Umm it's called war. Unfortunate things happen. However if you bring up Americans killing Iraqi children just keep in mind that more Iraqis have been killed by insurgents than by the US.

If you're going to accuse someone of something like that least make it of something that has credible evidence instead of just something that some liberal decided to accuse the President of one day.

Better people than you havebeen asked to disprove this accusation. Most notably,George W Bush himself. As yet, nobody has furnished any evidence that he finished his term in the National Guard, and there is plenty of evidence that he elected not to serve overseas[at a time when the US needed brave men to fight in Vietnam].

If you can provide a solid piece of evidence that Bush ever put his uniform on in the last months that he was supposed to be defending his country,I'll take it on board.Until then, all the evidence is that he was a gutless stay-home AND a deserter.
