Question Factory Wiring info??

I'm working on installing a new reciever in my 00 Cav, and was wondering if anyone is familiar with the color code for the wiring system. I don't exactly have the resources to go out and buy a manual right now, and I'm pretty sure that as long as I know what color is what, I'll be ok.
Any info appreciated

Re: Factory Wiring info??

First you need to have the friggin wire harness that sends a singal for the door chime which you can pick up at Circuit City for about $60 or you can get a relocation harness and shove it in your glove box as a temporary means...and cut off enough to put it in there and splice the wires one for one. From what I noticed from putting my new head unit in was that they throw some color combo's in there and if you get one wrong it won't work...I know, pretty obvious. Also, if you get the new harness or the relocation harness it just plugs in and the only splicing you'll have to do is to make it shorter or longer. Good luck!!!
