Will spraypaint explode in plane?

I'm taking some of my modeling stuff by plane, and I was wondering if the spraypaints will explode because of the pressure...? Will the paints in glass bottles be safe as well? What about pressurized air for airbrushes? Thanks

Re: Will spraypaint explode in plane?

Will they even let you take aerosols on aircraft these days? Check you ticket or ring the airline for conditions, cause you don't want them X-raying your luggage and pulling everything out. I'd imagine that a properly manufactured can would have little chance of exploding but it could leak and security could get suspicious.

i doubt they will even let you on the plane with that paint can

i bet i will see you on the news in a few days, talking about a security "breach" and shutting down an entire airport.

SAL is surface air lift. It goes ground from wherever is is sent from to the export airport where the package then flies "standby". When there is room after all priority mail packages they load the sal packages to fill the aircraft. Once the aircraft lands in the destination country the package then goes ground again to the final destination.
The "standby" portion is why delivery times vary with each order placed.

Usually after Sept 11, is not possible to mail by air, even hlj don't want to risk that. If not I already had the complete stock on Duolip rattle can on my shelve.
All paint and thinner either in rattle can or bottle consider dangerous cargo, and it's damn expensive to 'air' out. I do suggest you not to do it, or the airplane security will treat you acup of coffee in his room
