Can't Start Vehicle...Possibly Alarm Problem

HI!
Is there anywhere to locate the owners manual online (PDF)?
I can't turn the key on my durango but there is full power inside ...CD player, hazards....also the steering wheel is not locked, and the vehicle is locked in park. I can't even get to accesories to put up the windows which are all down....

The alarm went off just before this all happened, but I turned it off. Any ideas anyone? please help....

Have you tried wiggling the column around along with the key? Do you mean that you can not turn the key? If so, that's not an alarm problem. Also, is this factory alarm?

It isn't an alarm issue then. Sounds like your wheel has locked to where their is a lot of pressure on the locking pin inside the column. Or, maybe the cyl. lock is bad? There is no alarm out there that prevents you from turning the key.

I had the same issue when my alarm went off. Some times with the factory alarm it will "arm" itself and u wont know its goin off. I had to disconnect the battery overnight and then reconnect it. Then i rearmed the alarm and disarmed it.

I had a problem like that before. Try stepping on the brake while wiggling and turn the key and see if that works.
