my 93 sentra E is being such a pain in the ass! after doing many system checks I still cant figure why my car is bogging? Fuel pump voltage is correct (I think its getting to much fuel),I know its throwing a coolant temp and MAF sensor, and the dist. and coil pack are working fine putting out what I can see and have tested to be very good spark. when cold the car will run great but after a few moments when the accelerater is pressed the car bogs heavily sounding as if its the intake sucking in to much air, after that there is a very distinct gas odor coming from the car. any ifo is greatly appreciated-THANKS!

The strong fuel smell is the first indication. To me it would seem that you are getting too much fuel. You may want to check the fuel pressure regulator or have the injectors tested. Something else you can check is the mass-airflow sensor, when this doesn't tell the computer the right amount of air is flowing the computer will compinsate with the fuel to get the proper fuel ratio.

problems

does it smell like straight gas or kinda a burning egg smell? if its just a strong gas smell, it might be the fuel return line leaking, which causes pressure loss. if its the burning egg smell, check your catalytic converter, it might be clogged. also, when was the last time you got a new o2 sensor? check that too. hope this helps.
