Question Will Not Start When Cold

I have a 1996 Bravada that will not start when cold. If I pour a little gas in the intake it will start right up. Once it has warmed up it will start right back up. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Re: Will Not Start When Cold

Does this model have fuel injectors? If so, sounds like one or two of them may be clog. You should try some fuel injector cleaner. Afterwards I would also look at all of the plugs and make sure they are clean and gap right according to the manufactures requirements. Hope this helps!!!!!

There should be some trouble codes or at least some pending codes. See if your local parts house will give you a free OBDII scan and check for pending codes if the check engine light is not on.

Have your fuel pressure regulator checked. I had similar problems, and that was the problem
