Lift

I brought the front up level with the rear by adjusting the torsion bars. Now i want to do a body lift so i can get a set fo 33s on it. Any suggestions? i don't want o spend a bunch of money on lift.

Re: Lift

Probably the best cheap way to do a body lift is get a semi retired welder, and machinest to make one up for you, in his spare time.

Lifting the body is easy, but you have to extend all the linkages, and possibly some of the hoses, and wires for it to work right.

It's tough making the bumpers look right after a body lift.

Re: Lift

no bodies make your truck look weird kinda cause u can see a gap between ytour frame and body. Just buy a body lift its way cheap. I Saw one on ebay not sure if its still there u should check tho. Suspension would be way to much like around 800 with out installation.

If you aren't willing to spend the money to do the lift properly, don't lift it at all.

Re: Lift

If you plan on Off roading a suspension lift is the way to go since it lifts up your engine, transmission, etc. Plus it looks better. If you really want to raise it high try using a 4" suspension lift with a 2" body lift and it shouldn't look to bad

Re: Lift

naa 2 inch suspension and 2 inch body will clear 33s the only thing is if you do the 2 inch suspension lift rite it will cost around $500 and the body lift is around $100 but that will clear 33s im pretty sure and you can buy something to go over the gap for the body lift. as for overboard i dont think they make a 4 inch suspension lift for those becuase the axel flip is at least 5 inchs but idono.

If you want to be cheap on a lift, don't ask about it then.

Do it right, or leave it stock.

Quit being a cheap ass kid.
