15 years of B16

next year will mark 15 years that the B16 has been on the road in the Civic...i have only recently learned about the B16 (about 4 years) but have know about SR's since 97...but i believe the B16 has had the biggest impact on the Honda tuning world...more so in recent years

since the introduction of the K series...i wonder if it is going to make as big of a mark as the B16 has...guess time will tell...

would be cool though if Honda made crate engines

acura is in no comparision as nicely refined as infinity or lexus, they need to produce a great big ole sedan that can match wits with the LS430 and the Q45.

Thats what i'm sayin. Infiniti/nissan just came out with a v8 motor this year. So maybe Honda/Acura might be able to come out with a v8 just to compete with them. Even though there V6 accord and the new TL is already nice car and its a v6. Those things can hit mid 14s stock.

nah first things first, yea the W is a nice bit of technology, but lets do one thing at a time. fuck man, they have being using honda v8's and v10's in indy/f1 for years, just highly detune those 500hp motors to something like 250-300hp and 250-275tq and put it in the TL or RL, and they got a competitor.

not what most customers are looking for in a honda acura. v-8 jack up the price in every way possible anyways. insurance realibility gas actual car price. still would be cool tough. still the v-6 that acura uses still make decent power

Everyone forgets about the RL, it's suprisingly nice, the new RL has a 300hp SOHC V6 for 2005, they don't need V-8's for power like other car companies who can't tune engines right. Honda has always been able to compete performance wise, just not luxury wise.

i guess we just want to see a car with a V8 from honda...not because it needs to compete with other companies
