cold Air Intake for 1993 s-10 Blazer

What cold air intake system is available for a 1993 S-10 Blazer 4x4, V-6 Vortec W series? Any help much appreciated!

What year is your Blazer? I looked up K and N but they only have intakes for 1994 and newer. Will these also work on the 1993? Thanks!

I'm thinking about getting the K & N intake kit for my 2000 LT. I've seen one on a Sonoma and they are impressive, when you hit the gas it sounds like all the air around you is being sucked into the intake. It's sounds awesome. I can imagine how much gas it saves.

Right now I have just the K & N replacement filter in the blazer, but I got to get the kit.

I have the same engine as you.

So what year did you order the intake for? 1994? Like I said I looked up to order and they only show for 1994 and newer. Also, did you have to change anything such as oxygen sensor or anything? Thanks for your help!

1992-1995 have the same intake for the Vin "W" CPI Vortec.

I was just thinking. Can't I use the stock intake tube directly from the intake box and add an open element cone filter to the stock intake tube as opposed to buying the full system(tube and filter)?

Not really, the resonator which is the flap that attaches to the fan shroud slows air flow.

You can make your own intake using PCV pipe from home depot and a little workmanship. Just do it right and also replace and install the IAC sensor into the new setup.

What is the IAT boot?

It's the rippled boot that attached to the front intake of the engine.

On the underside is the IAT. Intake Air temperature sensor.
