Dirty Weekend (56k beware)
Had to head north for a family function last weekend.Decided to take the long and winding road.


State Highway 43 out of Stratford.



Whangamomona Hotel. 1hour from nowhere.



The rest of Whangamomona.Not a big place.



Still on a State Highway.Really.



And then they ran out of tar.



Waitanguru falls.


Didn't see another car for 2 hours.



Kiritehere Beach.Stopped for 30 mins,had the place to ourselves.



editcan't believe I left this one out...Marakopa falls.Amzing that we were the only people there on a Sunday afternoon.



A bit of a slip just north of Kawhia.



Sunset at Raglan.



Early morning,Raglan beach.



It's quite good for surfing -but not today.
