Thermostat problem
OKay, I just got my Prelude, and when I have the air conditioning on, or I am at a stop light the temp gauge slowly rises, when I start moving again or I turn off the AC it goes back to half, I was just wondering if this is a Thermostat problem, the radiator is not leaking, so that is not it. Also how much is a thermostart, its a '92 Prelude SI. Thanks for any help.

First check the fluid level. Then let the car idle in park till the temp reaches halfway. By this time the radiator fan should be spinning. If not the fan could be the problem. If the thermostat hasnt been replaced in a while it wouldnt hurt to.

Hey thanks, the fan does come on, and I am not sure when it was replaced, I just bought the car. I think I'm going to get a new thermostat, and hope for the best.
