Useless on a turbo motor because you just make more unuseable torque at lower RPM ranges. On a naturally aspirated motor you might see a 10-15 peak horsepower gain, but a lot more area under the curve.

Re: stroked b20?
Btw, I saw a stroker kit for the b20 in a magazine and if I remember correctly, for 2.1L it was 6% hp gain and for 2.2 it was 11%. My guess would be its the same for both N/A and FI.

Re: stroked b20?
Here we go.. A company called Eagle has a stroker hit for the B20. says +6.0mm stroke increase for a displacement of 2156cc which is a 9% increase.
Though I do question their unfinnished website. http://www.eaglerod.com |

Re: stroked b20?
it depends on your final drive and gearing if you are going to burn the tires. with a ITR final drive and GSR transmission, you probally will. but with a LS transmission and stock(4.4) final drive, itll probally be fine. btw, one of the fastest all-motor civic is a b18c bored and stroked to 2.2l(Leslie Durst), hitting boost can also cause loss of traction....

Re: stroked b20?
Its not necessary to stroke the motor when you go turbo. Usually all motor guys (like me) would have to squeeze out as much power as we can to be really fast. My friend still has a 1.8 gsr turbo powered 92 hatch running low 11s.
