Does the radio have a black and gray connector that look alike or a black connector and a small square one? I used to order an rca direct plugin for the small square plug and it worked great with a hi voltage preouts. For the most part ford amplifiers will accept speaker level input to the their amps. Just hook up the amp remote lead and it should work fine. The local walmart sells the amp plugs. Ive done probably 8 or 10 of those cars but it's been several years and I just cant remember which plug set is in it. If there are two plugs in the radio that look alike then different method may be needed.

Re: stock JBL sterio question

Don't let them hit you too hard, sometimes stereo shops like to charge outrageous fees. Depending where you are, 35$ - 50$ bucks should be fair to do that job, if you are just installing that radio and if the dealer is knowledgable about that system. I used to charge 45$ for that install in that car in my store. Can't remember if I had to use an LOC or not.

Good luck man
