Angry car won't start

I changed my steering column in my 95 monte. It ran before I changed it.
know it won't even turn over. if anyone can help me running i would appricate it alot.

sounds like and electrical/wiring problem to me. take back apart as much as you need to to check all the wires, connectors, and grounds.
on a side note do your interior lights, radio, ect. work?

does your car have a chip in the key? If so, your security module isn't recognizing the new key. If it doesn't, like Robz asked, do you have any power at all when you turn the key, or is the car dead?

All the pwer works except the key I found out it was the key with a differnet code. I need a new key with the old code. thanks for the reply.
