Keyless entry question
Ok, another Q on my cav. The guy that sold me the car gave me two remotes for it. He called them "clickers." Forgive him--he's an old-time car guy. He said they needed to be programmed. He also gave me another piece that came with the car. It is about 3 inches by 4 inches, black plastic casing. On three sides it has tiny prongs and slots--like stuff plugs into it. What is this? I'm thinking maybe a transmitter/receiver for the keyless entry? Do I have to take it to the dealer to have this installed and programmed (my car is a 1999) or can I go to a auto shop where they install that stuff? Thanks!

Re: Keyless entry question
look at other postings for your year vehicle about remote programming, as the instructions vary from year to year.
