Re: radio not wroking
its time for you to look at a wiring diagram to see what powers the radio. some vehicles have more than 1 circuit powering the radio that is not listed in the fuse panel. check every fuse in the fuse block first.

Re: radio not wroking
www.installdr.com or get a haynes or chilton's And please get a multimeter to test wires, as you are not supposed to use a test light on the newer airbag equipped models. Test lights could trigger deployment. -Chris

Re: radio not wroking
just some advise. your aftermarket radio needs 3 wires to turn on. ground, 12v constant (12v all the time), and 12v ignition (12v only when ignition is on). test all the wires and see which one/s you dont have. look for the thicker wires. becarefull as your testing live wires! if you dont have power to the 2 power wires then you will need to stare at the wiring diagram to determine the fault. do you know how to read a wiring diagram?

Re: radio not wroking
This sounds like a bad fuse still.
Check all the fuses carefully. |

Re: radio not wroking
how did you/they wire the radio in? did they get an adapter or just cut the plug off and re wire it? did you check the fuse on the radio? there could be a fuse under the hood that you need to check. the list of possibilities is almost endless. i know on a lot of the newere aftermarket cd players, the antenna has to be plugged in as they use it as a ground source. check that. and invest in the multi meter and test all positive power wires for the radio. did you check all of the fuses in the block or just the radio? they might have pulled a power wire from say the 12V adapter. that fuse might have went.......just my .02
