No spark

I just replaced my head gasket and I went to start the car and the plug only fired once.I'm sure the timming belt is right and the distributer is in the right position,help

Well I answered my own question again.I found a ground wire not attached.That was all it was.Five days later,I figured it out thanks everyone

where was that ground wire? im not getting any spark nither
