98 z24, turning off the engine
just purchased a used 98 z24..and noticed that it's a little difficult sometimes to turn the key so the engine stops running.
i was wondering if maybe i'm just slow or if there is some thing i should into?... it's a manual transmission and a button that you need to push i believe to remove the key...i'm pushing it and the clutch is down...but still stuck sometims...wtf...anyway need sleep |

Re: 98 z24, turning off the engine
Try spraying some lubricant in the lock cylinder. They can get gunked up with crap from teh key over time and become sticky. If that doesn't fix it, you probably need a new ignintion cylinder.
