whats with all the random posts about girls lately?

I must confess I have another one to add. So I've known this girl for... 4 years. We've been good friends for probably 2 or 3. I haven't seen her much lately, but she used to have a thing for me, even though we were never together. Anyways, we started hanging out again lately, and whenever I'm around her its like I feel something I don't feel with other people. Yeah I know what you're thinking... I'm 16, no its not a crush. Its just that it seems like we connect. I can be myself and we have fun together. The problem is that she has a boyfriend now, and they've been dating for a year and some months. I would ask her out in an instant if she wasn't in a relationship already, I kind of wish I had 2 years ago. (long story about that, I accidentally set her up with another friend of mine

) I try to keep my mind off her, because I want to respect the fact that she has a boyfriend. I know that she thinks I'm a really nice guy... what should I do? Just tell her all this but that I want to respect the fact that she does have a boyfriend already?

confused... I will now go ponder the situation until others reply

She's dating your friend, so you should keep your mouth shut and suffer in silence. Remember, he who hesitates is lost. Next time you have feelings for a girl, tell her or ask her out. The worst thing she can say is no.

Oh, and I also didn't really have feelings until now, its just that in retrospect I wish I'd have asked her out then...

also, I'd hesitate to call them "feelings", its just that we get along really well. I don't know what to call them.

Chill out with it. Be her friend, but make sure you treat her like a potential bf would, ya know? That way, if she and her boyfriend have a falling out and end up breaking up, you'll be there for her and will also have an opportunity to end up dating, while also in the mean time, you can be playing the field.

sorry but I had to laugh at Damir831's comment..
shes in a relationship with someone else right now and thats something you need to respect. being a closer friend with her is only going to make your feelings for her stronger, I cant see it helping the situation. Keep a Friendship with this girl but dont keep your mind set on her leaving her boyfriend for you.. go out and meet other people..

DO NOT get stuck in the "friend zone", cuz then ur screwed, may as well whack off until you find someone else. Once your caught in that "friend zone", you're not gettin out of it.

Actually, that's not always true. I do know a few people who were once in the friend zone and are now dating that friend.

My advice: Boyfriends don't mean a damn thing. Husbands are a different story. All is fair in love (before marriage, anyway) and if she likes you and you like her, that's just the way it goes. Some people may find this unsettling and/or dishonorable advice. Those are usually the people who are afraid their girlfriends will leave them for another guy. You only live once- you shouldn't die with any petty regrets. Good luck in whichever approach you choose.
