The gasket in the engine mount is split - how much should I be paying to replace it? The dealership said $210...
Thanks |

Re: engine mount gasket?
Donno, ive always done my own work. Its cheaper that way. Dealerships are always expensive, try going to a local tuner shop and get a price from them. It might end up at around $100 something.

Re: engine mount gasket?
the labor will depend on which mount is the bad one. the ones on the sides are not too difficult to replace. the one in the back will probably cost more. you might think about switching to polyeurethane mounts. they are stiffer so the engine wont move as much under strain.
