1994 Dodge ERG
I have the 5.9 engine with a check engine code 32 which says the ERG is a problem.
I troubleshot it to the solenoid valve which is connected to the valve (2 seperate units). It runs fine, just tired or looking at the check engine light. I seem to be getting about 2 more miles to the gallon. Wish I could turn off the check engine light and leave alone??? Anybody done this, or can I work on the solenoid? I have voltage to it, and proper vacuum. I kind of like the extra mileage. |

No, just was trying to get the check engine light out. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and buy the assembly. They do not sell the solenoid seperate from the EGR valve. Comes with hoses and connected together.

Re: 1994 Dodge ERG
Whats your mileage on the truck, most dodges have the check engine light that comes on at about 60,000 +/- 10,000. Just unhook your NEG battery cable for about 10mins then reconnect it or just go to a autozone if you have one near you and ask them to clear the codes. That should take care of the Check Light. GOOD LUCK
