Re: definition of ricer?

I think it gets kind of dumb but from what I've gathered it's the kids with the huge exhausts that are useless and the big wings and unpainted body kits and neon etc. Though some of these cars like in HCi and stuff have had a lot of work put into them and I respect them for doing it because thats a lot of skill and money involved most of the time. Basically it's the people who buy those cheap 300$ weight adding kits and the huge wings that probably slow you down and ruin your gas mileage. I'm gonna stop there because I don't want to get into an argument. 'cuz getting in an argument on the internet is like the special olympics. Even if you win you're still retarded.

Re: definition of ricer?

It includes but is not limited to the following:

Not knowing what speed is.
Making a car look faster then it is.
Civic.
Parts that wouldnt even make sense on a spaceship.

Re: definition of ricer?

Haha man I didn't know what to say about the civic thing. Yeah some of them do. Actually I have a HCi a while back with Lisa Kubo's(hot car) drag car on the fornt with a small 93 civic. Looks nice and basic with a butt load of hp and tq.

Re: definition of ricer?

being a ricer is more of an attitude than what you do to your car.

I think when you add stuff to your car for the sake of having something on your car is rice. It may not fit the color scheme, look, or even make and model ::cough:: type - r stickers on civics ::cough:: but they do it anyways. Wheel covers that say NOS.

More so I think then the cars themselves, its the punk kids who drive them. Often having no respect for other cars, and refusing to compliment someone on their accomplishments like flipping people off after they beat you in a race instead of a thumbs up or wave.

I think it also has to do with uninformed people who do Huge burnouts to get their tires sticky (on stock tires) , double clutch in a drag race, and assumptions about other cars and their performance.

thats just my

Re: definition of ricer?

Here in MN, ricer: 2 front wheels donuts
-LOTS and LOTS of stickers
-a big a$$ exhaust
-a big a$$ wing that looks like its gonna fly
-back two rims are either Integra GS, LS, GSR rims, Honda Si rims
-any thing that sounds like a fart can...yep..only some civics/tegs/ricers have the power not to be called a ricer...i think...?

Re: definition of ricer?

A ricer is the poser of the car world. JekylandHyde posted a pretty good link. We could use that as a sticky.
