A/C-remanfactured?

Anyone have any experience with reman. A/C systems. Are they worth the savings. 789.00 for new and 489.00 for reman. Any ideas.

Thanks for your time.

Re: A/C-remanfactured?

IF you replace all the required parts, Compressor, accumulator, orifice filter, and flush the system, the reman will work just as well. one warning though, most aftermarket AC companies require all this to be done at a shop to get any warranty whatsoever. If you do the work yourself, you may void the warranty.

I purchased one a few years back for another vehicle. Worked fine until I sold it. You also have to look at how long you plan to keep your vehicle.
