Angry brake light won't turn off...Help!

Red e-brake light on the cluster won't turn off even when it's not on. Sometimes it goes away but it comes back....what is the problem? anyone knows?

there is something about that in the manual. i think it says that you might be low on brake fluid or maybe something else. but it is in the manual. i have the same problem and still havent figured it out. mine started after i changed my radio. the switch is on the e-brake part inside the counsle. it is possible that that part might be off. also, if for some reason you grounded something to anything attatched to that, the light will stay on.
