Will gears affect my computer???

When I install my new gears am I goin to have to get my computer re-programmed for reasons other than the speedo. Is my driving goin to be affected if I dont have a programmer? Also, should I break it in with synthetic oil or wait till after the break in to put synthetic...Any tips may help. Thanks

Re: Will gears affect my computer???

you wont have to reprogram anything besides the speedo but you could adjust the shift points while your adjusting the gears to make the car run a little harder, if its an automatic that is.

otherwise no you dont have to do anything.
