2001 grandam starts but gauges don't for ~ 2 min.
2001 grandam starts but gauges don't for ~ 2 min. I have checked all the fuses and nothing. I'm lost can anyone help?

Have a similar problem on a 1999 Grand Am. The gauges don't take 2 min., but take longer than they used to. Also, while engine is running, gauges ocassional "reset" by going down to home position, then jumping to max with all warning lights on as if car was just started, then returning to normal. Haven't been able to pin down a cause of the problem or even a pattern to when it happens.

ok, I found a bcm gm part# 12206799 Body Multifunction Computer Connector/Module BFC MDL for $114.15 with a $22.83 shipping fee for a total of $136.98 on GMPartsDirect.com; I will have to save up but this sounds like the answer. Thanks everyone!!
