89 Truck Hard start after setting for awhile.

Hi, just found this forum after doing a search, looks very helpful. Please help with my problem....The truck will not start after it's been ran for 30 mins. or longer unless, I depress the gas pedal. This is a 22RE engine with EFI. The truck will start normally (gas pedal not depressed), as long as it sets for greater than 4-5 hours. I have just replaced the spark plugs and cleaned the fouling from the distributor cap and rotor. Any guidance would be appricated. Thanks, Jerry

Have you checked your air filter? Use some high quality fuel injector cleaner, get 'em cleaned up. Maybe defective pick up coil in distributer. good luck!
