airbrushing
howdy
im pretty into art and airbrushing and was going to airbrush my bike when i get my hands on it. i was going to paint like an animal skeleton over it, so i would be putting the vertebra along the top of the fuel tank, with ribs and other associated bones in their rightful positions, all over a black background of cousre, i was also going to do make the helmets into skulls. any feedback? the questrion i have is: i know about painting over cars and so forth and a bike would be no different, but the helmets might be. would a hemet be different from the bikes body in terms of paint? also what are they made out of? thanks guys |

hey dude. they recommend not using paints or solvents on helmets because it can affect the integrity of the material i.e weaken it on impact. but i know you can do it. when you take a class they will be able to tell you what paints are safe.
