Plug nipples on BCS after MBC install, or leave open?
I'm installing a JoeP MBC right now. 97 eclipse spyder 4g63.
Im following intructions from a hallman MBC install found at: http://www.belitski.com/vfaqhallman.html Question: Once i remove the 2 hoses from the BCS, should I plug the nipples on the BCS or leave them free? Question: One part of the MBC goes into the wastegate nipple. The above link wants me to tee the second hose from the MBC into the hose from the BOV to the intake manifold. Will do, but do the wise men have some better way before I proceed? Thanks. |

Put the BCS in your shed or garage, you won't need it. It may be late, but I didn't really follow what instructions you are following.
One side of the MBC goes to the BOV line, and one side goes to the wastegate actuator. Plug the intake pipe (if stock) and the turbo housing where the BCS went before. |

Ok. There is a wiring harness that connects to the BCS...leave that alone too?

It doesn't cause any problems or a check engine light. It will be fine just hanging, or whatever you choose to do with it.
