A/cond Filling Up And Leaking Onto Floor
My 2000 escort a/c fills up with water flooding the motor and thermostat, took to dealer and they said drain was plugged. One day later filled back up. Got motor and thermostat from pick apart. worked ok but still fills up inside and runs onto floorboard. Can I run a drain hose myself? Is this a common problem with escorts?

Re: A/cond Filling Up And Leaking Onto Floor
This is something that happens to all cars due to crud, leaves and etc building up in the bottom of the duct work. The drain probably plugged up again and should be easy to open with a coat hanger or other stiff object. If it has a drain hose, usually a small one then replace it, should be an easy do it yourself job.
