DOHC in 92-95 si
I have a 93 si coupe with a 1.6 sohc with a automatic trans and its gutless so Im thinking about selling it and getting an si hatch with a 5 speed.
A while ago I test drove a 95 si hatch with a DOHC and it was pretty quick. did any 5th gen civics come with a DOHC vtec engine from the factory or did this car have a heart transplant? how big of a performace difference will there be between a vtec sohc in a automatic coupe or a 5 spd hatch?

only dohc that came stock in the 5th gens were sold in japan and those were teh vti's i think. auto suxs on any sohc. 5spd is faster and the hatch is faster than the coupe bc of weight. id would just go with the 5spd hatch bc u wont have to intall the clutch pedal if u do a manual swap

no usdm 92-95 civics came with dohc
