Speedometer reading too fast
I have a 92 3.8. I have 205-70/15 stock tires on it. I have noticed it seems when I drive 60 everybody passes me. It seemed my speedometer was reading 60 but I was only going 55. I was driving in a "caravan" from a soccer game and started calling my traveling companions and asked them how fast they were going as I tailgated them. 77 mph on my speedometer translated into 70 and 71 on two other cars. How can I get this more close to right? I appears my speedometer is showing 6-7 mph faster than I am actually going.

Re: Speedometer reading too fast
look in the yellow pages and see if there is a place in your area that calibrates speedo's. they should be able to cure your problem.

Re: Speedometer reading too fast
your speedo is electronic, therefore, no owner mods can be done, sorry for the bad news, sometimes the truth sucks
