Flat tire???

I have my PSI levels like the factory recommendations and my 2 front tires look a little flat--like it could use some more air or something. Does anyone else here follow the factory recommendations and seem a bit flat? Should I add more air? If so, how much?

For my '94 SL, it's 32 PSI up front and 29 PSI in the back.

Re: Flat tire???

If you go by factory recommendations, doesn't the front tires look flat?

Re: Flat tire???

I thought the factory recommendations had it as the same number all the way around... so its gonna look lower in the front cuz its heavier there

Re: Flat tire???

Well, on the driver door side panel, there's a sticker/tag there that tells you the PSI levels for the tires. I don't know if it's the same for Stealths but for GTs then there should be one.

Re: Flat tire???

Go to http://www.stealth316.com/0-frames.htm then click specifications, then under drivetrain click wheels, then go down to the bottom of the page and it should give you in info you need for your model.

Re: Flat tire???

Mine says 35 in the front and 32 in the back, due to the extra weight from the engine up front.

Re: Flat tire???

Yeah, Stealths probably don't have the sticker. I'm guessing that it should be about the same as a GT so for a '94 SL, it's 32 in the front and 29 in the back.

heheh

it's Actually GVWR and it stands for Gross Vehicle Weight Rating and I beleive it is the mximum weight of the car, Including full fuel and the passenger/cargo etc. Go over that weight and You probbly void any warranty on your chassis (if it's even still running)
