Will 225/45/17 fit my 96" Accord or not?!
From what I understand... reading online says not to change your tire size more then 3% from your original size. A 225/45/17 would calculate a 3.05% difference! I was wondering if anyone out there has these size tires on the same generation Accord or if there are any tire experts out there that have the resources to tell me if they would fit or not. I know 215/45/17 are recommended, but I was looking for a tire with a little bit more meat on it...
THanks, MIke

AFAIK, They'll fit.
My friend has 235/40/17 on his 92 Prelude, without any rubbing problems. The accord wheel wells are similar to preludes right?

Problem with 235/40 is he wants a tire with more sidewall. 235/40 has a smaller sidewall. He also wants a slightly taller tire to fill the fender well.
