crackle exhaust

hey guys i just got my hp racing catback exhaust on paired with my tsudo header n downpipe. only problem was i had to reuse the stock cat for now till i find a hi flow. this exhaust was somewhat quiet and then i yanked the silencer out and bout shit myself when i started it. thing is loud. real loud. its not as ricy as i thought it would sound but its close. heres my issue. when i let off the gas or downshift it crackles and sounds sounds sound very choppy.. is this normal with the 420a with an exhaust or u all think its the stock cat? peace

Re: crackle exhaust

Happens on all cars.. well I am not sure about all but a majority of them yes it is normal. It happens on my friends V8 just not as crackly. My solution don't downshift put the car in neutral

Re: crackle exhaust

Happens more on some cars, especially horizontal engines.. Maybe not more, but louder. I think it sounds mean, but in any case there's not much you can do about it.
