1296 Air fuel metering code

Autozone was able to get the 1296 air fuel metering code for my check engine light but does not have any info regarding this code. Any help would be appreciated.

Code P1296 is a cooling system malfunction code. Most common causes are 1) the car isn't warming up properly, like a stuck open thermostat or 2) the coolant temp sensor may be malfunctioning.
